1. Who we are

Smart Career Compass is a trading name of Advance with Abs Project Management Services, a sole establishment licensed in Dubai, UAE (DET Licence No. 1652845). We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Contact us at hello@smartcareercompass.com.

2. What we collect

• When you contact us: your name, email address and the contents of your message.
• When you book a session: your name, email address, time zone and your answers to any booking questions, collected through our scheduling provider.
• When you pay: payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. We receive confirmation of your payment, your name, email address and the amount paid. We never see or store your full card number.
• When you sign up for a free guide or emails: your name and email address, collected through our email provider.
• When you work with us: the information and documents you choose to share, such as your CV, LinkedIn profile, career history and goals.
• When you visit this website: basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider records in the normal course of serving web pages.

3. How we use your information

• To deliver the services you have booked and to communicate with you about them.
• To reply to your questions.
• To send you the free guide you asked for and, if you agree, occasional emails about our services. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
• To keep accounting and other records that the law requires.

We use your information only with your consent, to carry out our agreement with you, or to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business: our scheduling, payment, email marketing, email and video call providers, and our website host. They may only use your information to provide their services to us. Some of these providers are based outside the UAE, so your information may be processed in other countries. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

5. Cookies and tracking

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our sign-up form and booking and payment pages are provided by third parties, who may set their own cookies. Please see their privacy policies for details. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when you visit.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. We keep coaching materials while we are working together and for a reasonable period afterwards, and we delete them on request unless we are required to keep them. Payment and accounting records are kept for as long as the law requires.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. You can also withdraw your consent to marketing emails at any time. To make a request, email hello@smartcareercompass.com. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using reputable providers and restricting access to it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Our services are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
